About Trippi Advisor

Hi! I’m Isobel, and I’m the therapist behind Trippi Advisor.

I’m a Psychotherapist and a qualified Hypnotherapist, & Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner. I’ve always been fascinated by the effects of psychedelic plant medicine and I passionately believe that each individual has a responsibility to understand the purpose of each trip and to evaluate their mental and spiritual state throughout the process.

So much can be gained from taking the time to consciously process a trip, from creative inspiration to personal evolution, to exploring the collective consciousness through the symbolism of hallucinogenic visions. I work with people who have had experiences with Cannabis, MDMA, LSD, Psilocybin mushrooms (magic mushrooms), DMT (N,N-Dimethyltryptamine) and many more.

I work in a person-centred way, using techniques from Psychoanalysis, CBT, Gestalt, Jungian and Mindfulness therapies.

What is Psychedelic Integration Therapy?

Psychedelics have been shown through research and countless university studies to have the potential to treat depression, anxiety, addiction, alcoholism and PTSD.

Many people describe psychedelic trips as some of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. However, many lack the ongoing support that is necessary to integrate the meaning of these experiences into their consciousness, in order to create permanent positive changes to their lives.

Sometimes trips don’t solve problems, but reveal to us the problems we haven’t consciously acknowledged, encouraging us to face up to the changes that we need to make. This work has historically been conducted in ceremonies within ancient cultures and communities, in a controlled and supportive environment. Without this kind of support and reflection, our ego, our blind spots, and our defence mechanisms can all return as effective as ever, after a trip.

A psychedelic integration therapist can help you do this work. Integration helps to maintain the beneficial effects of the experience in ‘ordinary life’, and navigate the thoughts, feelings, sensations and visions that lead to deeper self-awareness and self-acceptance, rather than the unbalance that can occur when psychedelics are taken regularly without being integrated.

An integration therapist will help you to:

  • Set intentions and decipher meaningful, actionable steps from your trips to integrate the benefits of psychedelics into your life.

  • Trust your body and intuition whilst reducing the risk of harm.

  • Evolve away from self-destructive cycles and maintain positive changes.

  • Increase your understanding of the messages behind psychedelic trips, and the ways in which they interact with your life experience and mental health.

  • Process memories and emotions brought up by your trips.

We don’t believe that psychedelics are appropriate for everyone in every situation, nor do we believe that psychedelic use is the only route to spiritual evolution. We encourage all our clients to develop healthy and informed relationships with the psychedelics they have used. We also encourage clients to consider the intentions behind their trip, what they hope to manifest and how they plan to use the experience to positively transform their lives, relationships, mental wellbeing and spiritual health. Clients are responsible for their own choices about the use of psychedelics.

Have you had a bad trip?

Unsettling psychedelic experiences are the most important to integrate. Grounding is especially important in these cases to maintain psychological equilibrium. A grounded understanding of the effect of the substance on our brains and bodies, and processing of the triggers, thoughts and feelings that may have come up for you during the trip is critical. We don’t want anyone to feel as if they can’t approach a therapist due to the stigma of having used psychedelics in a non-clinical environment and whilst we do not encourage this, we feel it is essential to work with those who may feel disturbed or unbalanced after a trip. We offer confidential, non-judgemental support!

What did your trip reveal?
